HEK293T cells are refractory to the growth suppressing effects of forced Dlx expression. a Transfected and selected HEK293T cells were seeded in triplicate at 1 × 104 cells/well in a 96-well plate without further selection. Relative changes in cell number were measured daily for four days with resazurin (n = 4). b At the time of seeding the growth assay, extra cells were collected for immunoblot (IB) analysis to verify protein expression.
